Webeleon

Privacy Policy

This is a plain-language summary of how Webeleon handles your data, not legal advice. We keep it short because we collect very little.

What we collect

One thing: your email address, and only when you choose to join the early-access list. Nothing else is required. The form carries a hidden anti-spam field (labelled “company”) that real visitors never see or fill; if it arrives filled we discard it. We also record where you signed up from — the article or placement — so we know which notes are useful. That attribution is kept internally and never shared.

Why we collect it — our legal basis

We process your email on the basis of your consent. You give that consent by choosing to join the list: you are asking us to send you occasional emails about the Webeleon music assistant and the odd blog note. You can withdraw your consent at any time — see “Your rights” and “How to unsubscribe” below.

Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is Webeleon — Julien Prugne. For any privacy question or request, email us at julien@webeleon.dev.

Who processes your data

We use Resend to store the list contact and to deliver our emails. Resend acts as our processor under a data-processing agreement. Your data may be processed outside the European Union; where that happens, it is covered by appropriate safeguards (Resend’s standard contractual clauses and DPA). We do not sell your data and we do not share it with anyone other than this processor.

How long we keep your data

We keep your email on the list until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. There is no other retention.

Your rights

Under the GDPR — and, in France, the CNIL framework — you can ask us to give you access to the data we hold about you, correct it, erase it, and withdraw your consent at any time. The quickest route is the one-click unsubscribe in any email; you can also email us at julien@webeleon.dev and we will act on your request.

How to unsubscribe

Every email we send carries a one-click unsubscribe link and a standards-based List-Unsubscribe header, so your mail client can offer its own unsubscribe button. One click removes you from the list — no login, no form. You can also email julien@webeleon.dev and we will remove you.

How to request deletion

To have your data deleted, use the unsubscribe link or email julien@webeleon.dev. Deletion means we remove your contact from our Resend audience entirely; once it is removed, we hold nothing about you.

Cookies and analytics

We set no tracking cookies. This site uses Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless: it collects only aggregate, privacy-friendly traffic counts (pages viewed, visits, referrers) and never sets a cookie, never fingerprints your device, and never receives personal data like your email.

The only thing we store in your browser is your light/dark theme choice, kept as a webeleon-theme value in localStorage. It is a functional, same-device preference: it stays on your device, is never sent to us, and is not used to track you.
