Privacy policy

Edgars collects no personal data. None is transmitted, shared, or sold.

Edgars is a practice companion for solo gigging musicians, developed by Webeleon — Julien Prugne (“the developer”). Contact: contact@webeleon.dev.

What the app stores, and where

Everything you put into Edgars — your Songs, Gigs and Setlists, your Practice Events and ratings, and the audio Recordings you capture — is stored only on your phone, inside the app’s private storage.

The app has no account, no sign-in, and no server. There is nothing to transmit data to: the app makes no network calls of any kind and works fully offline.

Microphone

Edgars asks for the microphone permission so it can record your playing during a practice Loop. The microphone is used only to create these Recordings, only while you are recording, and the audio files stay on your phone. They are never uploaded, analyzed by a third party, or shared.

Retention and deletion

Recordings are deleted automatically after the retention period you choose in Settings (1 day, 1 week, 2 weeks, or 1 month; the default is 1 week). You can also delete any Recording yourself, or all of them at once, inside the app. Your ratings and Practice Events are never deleted automatically. Android’s backup is disabled for Edgars, so no copy of your data is kept in Google Drive. Uninstalling the app removes all of its data from the phone.

Analytics, advertising, and third parties

Edgars contains no analytics, no crash-reporting SDKs, no advertising, and no third-party tracking. It shares data with no one because it sends data nowhere.

Children

Edgars is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the change will be described in the app’s release notes on Google Play and in this document.
